All scooters sold by SecondHandMobilityScooters are second-hand (used) units that have been fully serviced, cleaned, and safety tested before sale. While they may show small signs of previous use such as minor scratches or cosmetic wear, each one is in safe working condition and ready to use upon delivery.
Every scooter undergoes a five-day preparation process before dispatch. This includes a full mechanical service, a health and safety inspection, a cosmetic clean and polish, and secure pallet wrapping to ensure the scooter arrives in excellent, ready-to-use condition.
Once your order is confirmed, it takes around five (5) working days to prepare your scooter. After dispatch, delivery via our UK oversized pallet courier typically takes 1–5 working days, depending on location and courier schedules. You’ll receive tracking information once your scooter has been shipped.
Every order includes the mobility scooter and a power charging cable. Any additional accessories (such as baskets, mirrors, or covers) will only be included if they are explicitly mentioned in the product description or visible in the listing images.
All scooters are securely wrapped and strapped for delivery, but if any damage occurs in transit, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and details. We’ll investigate the issue and arrange repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Yes — under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from the day after delivery to cancel your purchase, provided the scooter has not been used and is returned in the same condition it was received. You’ll need to cover the cost of return shipping.
Yes, all scooters come with a 30-day functional warranty covering key mechanical and electrical components such as the motor, throttle, and control unit. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or battery life reduction due to age and use.
Because mobility scooters are large and heavy, all deliveries are made by pallet courier on a kerbside basis. This means the courier will deliver the pallet to the nearest safe point at your property but is not insured to carry it indoors. Please ensure someone is available to receive and move the scooter.
No — at this time, SecondHandMobilityScooters only delivers within the UK mainland. We do not currently offer international shipping or deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or remote offshore areas.
