Battery Care & Customer Responsibility

Lead acid batteries require correct charging and maintenance to achieve their expected service life.

Batteries should be fully charged regularly, including when the mobility scooter is not being used for extended periods. Batteries should not be repeatedly left discharged or stored in a deeply discharged condition.

Battery performance and lifespan can be significantly reduced by incorrect charging, allowing batteries to remain discharged, unsuitable chargers, incorrect installation, electrical faults, overloading or other misuse.

We cannot accept responsibility for battery deterioration, loss of capacity or damage caused by incorrect charging, poor maintenance, misuse, incorrect installation or failure to follow the scooter and battery manufacturer's charging instructions.

14-Day Battery Warranty

This battery set is supplied with our 14-day battery warranty covering faults attributable to the batteries themselves.

The warranty does not cover faults or deterioration caused by misuse, incorrect charging, incorrect installation, unsuitable charging equipment, scooter electrical faults, physical damage or failure to maintain the batteries correctly.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.

Battery Returns & Safety

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of lead acid batteries, batteries that have been installed, connected, used, damaged, altered or mishandled cannot normally be accepted back for a change-of-mind return. Please therefore check compatibility carefully before installation.
